Cannon Master Wiki

Regiliths are berserk weapons of destruction created by the demon forces during the Great War. They were originally operated from within by demons, but went berserk near the end of the war and greatly contributed to the demons' retreat. In the present day, Regiliths continue to roam the land of sand, attacking people and destroying settlements. The warriors responsible for eliminating them are known as Slayliths.

History

Regiliths were created by the demon forces as weapons during the Great War. Demons originally controlled and operated them from inside their bodies. However, toward the end of the conflict, the Regiliths went berserk and turned into uncontrollable weapons. Their rampage greatly contributed to the retreat of the demons.

Despite the war having ended, the Regiliths remain active. They continue to wander throughout the land of sand and leave destruction in their wake, forcing Slayliths to hunt and destroy them.

Characteristics

Regiliths are large armored weapons that commonly resemble mechanical beasts. They differ in size, appearance and the number of weapons attached to their bodies. These factors are used to determine their threat level.

Regiliths attack humans and replenish their magic by consuming their victims' flesh and blood. As a Regilith absorbs more magic, it can become considerably stronger. The Level 2 Regilith encountered near Hysheera had killed more than forty people and had become supercharged by the magic it absorbed from them.

Every Regilith possesses a core located somewhere inside its body. A Regilith can continue regenerating from damage as long as its core remains intact, making the destruction of the core necessary to permanently defeat it.

Threat levels

Regiliths are placed on a threat scale ranging from Level 1 to Level 5. Their placement is determined by their size and the number of weapons they possess.

A midsized Regilith can be classified as a Level 2 threat. Regiliths at Level 2 or above normally require several Slayliths working together to defeat them.

Abilities

Enhanced Physical Abilities - Regiliths possess immense strength and durability due to their large bodies and heavy armor. They can withstand powerful physical and magical attacks while causing extensive damage to buildings and the surrounding terrain.

Cannon Fire - Many Regiliths are equipped with cannons capable of releasing highly destructive blasts. Their cannon fire can destroy large areas and is powerful enough to physically break through a Regilith's magical barrier. Some Regiliths possess both a powerful main cannon and several weaker secondary cannons.

Magic Absorption - Regiliths replenish their magic by consuming the flesh and blood of humans. The magic they absorb can increase their power and allow them to continue fighting.

Regeneration - A Regilith can regenerate damaged parts of its body as long as its core remains intact. Even severe damage cannot permanently stop one unless its core is destroyed.

Magical Barrier - After consuming a large amount of magic, a Regilith can create a magical barrier around its body. The barrier acts as protective armor and reduces the effects of most magical attacks. Ordinary wind magic, including Bharat's Song of Wind: Twister, is unable to pierce it. The barrier must instead be physically broken by an attack possessing power comparable to a Regilith's cannon.

Multiple Weapons - Regiliths can possess several different weapons across their bodies. The Regilith occupying Tawat had a main cannon and multiple secondary cannons. Although its secondary cannons were weaker, they had shorter recovery periods and could follow moving targets, making them difficult to avoid.

Target Detection - Certain Regiliths can detect when someone enters their attack range. The Tawat Regilith remained stationary until a target crossed into a specific radius, at which point it immediately attacked.

Weaknesses

The primary weakness of a Regilith is its core. As long as the core remains undamaged, the Regilith can regenerate and continue fighting. Destroying the core permanently disables it.

Although a magical barrier can defend a Regilith against most magical attacks, it can be broken through overwhelming physical force. Certain cannons also require a recovery period after firing, which can provide an opportunity to approach or attack the Regilith.
